Maryland voters will have a unique opportunity to meet several of the state’s leading Republican candidates for Lt. Governor at an upcoming Lt. Governor Meet & Greet hosted at Cub Hill Presbyterian Church on Thursday, May 28th.

The event will feature four confirmed Republican contenders for Lt. Governor of Maryland: Dr. Brenda Thiam, Tyrone E. Keys, Reba Hawkins, and Rob Krop. Attendees will have the chance to engage directly with the candidates, ask questions, and hear firsthand their visions for the future of Maryland ahead of early voting.

Organizers describe the gathering as an opportunity for meaningful conversation and personal interaction rather than a traditional debate format.

“This event is about giving Marylanders the chance to truly connect with the candidates on a personal level,” said Christopher Anderson, Chairman of the Maryland Black Republican Council. “Voters deserve the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking leadership, understand their values, and discuss the issues impacting our communities and our state.”

Food and refreshments will be served as guests participate in conversations centered on the future direction of Maryland, public policy priorities, economic revitalization, education, public safety, and conservative leadership.

The event aims to foster unity, civic engagement, and constructive dialogue among Republican voters and candidates as Maryland enters a critical election season.
